The practice green at Lakeside received a make over this summer improving conditions. Five inches of soil has been removed from the surface to make room for a new 60/40 sand soil mix. The mixture was treated to remove insects and unwanted weed growth. Plugs were pulled from the greens during aeration and place on the new surface to grow. As of now the practice green is filled in around 95 percent making the new practice green ready for use. We expect the green to fill in completely come spring time.
